My friend Heather is due 3 days before me. Last week she called me and told me she had connected with one of Denver's premier face painters, Charlotte. Charlotte was looking for models so that she could put together a training on belly painting. After taking a look at Charlotte's website, www.DenverFacePainter.com I was so excited and decided to do it.
It took about 2.5 hours to paint my belly. I didn't get to choose the art, but Charlotte asked about my tastes and created a design for me. I really liked what she put together!
I told the baby it was her first time wearing makeup. Charlotte uses the same face paint that clowns use on their face, not cheap acrylic paints. It was fun watching the scene come together. Although I had to look in a mirror to see the flowers on the underside of my belly :)
So here it is, my belly painting. Came out pretty cool, hu?
